Wendy Pennington has been directing stage and film since 2014. Along the journey she has continued learning and being mentored by top filmmaking talent with her most recent acceptance into The Alliance of Women Directors. In 2020 and 2021 she gained entrance into Sundance Collab taking both the producers course and screenwriter course. Her feature film screenplay, "Blue Rondure," is a suspense thriller and is ready for financing. She is currently doing the directors prep and final draft. Wendy created the company Improv Dallas in 2012. She loves both writing and directing commercials and actors. Influences include Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Meryle Streep, Steven Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon and Jason Bateman.
